Catherine Dolores Blake

This precious jewel, born on May 19, 1929 was the daughter of the late, Henry and Thelma Brown of New York. She is the granddaughter of Harriet Seabrook Milledge and the late Frank Milledge of Bloominghale, GA. She was the apple of their eyes. Her son, Christopher Bolton, preceded her in death.

She was employed as a supervisor with the Ports Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Upon retirement, she moved from New York to Savannah, GA. Catherine was a voyager. She and husband, Leon traveled to many states and exotic countries. She enjoyed discussing their travel ventures with the family. She enjoyed reading and volunteered to teach reading in the local literacy programs.

On Sunday morning, November 15, 2009, Catherine's earthy pilgrimage came to and ends, to sleep away eternity.

She leaves to pursue life's journey her husband, Leon Blake; daughter, Sheila Brice of Williston, FL; aunt, Mrs. Adele Golden of Sylvania, GA; and a host of cousins and friends

Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2009 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.
